An official trailer for the documentary ‘Getting Lost’, directed by Taylor Morden and focused on the legacy of the 2004 series ‘Lost’, was released on October 3. According to Morden and his studio, PopMotion Pictures, Getting Lost would explore the impact the series had on the pop culture scene as well as its history and would also comprise of new interviews with the cast and crew as advertised in the trailer of the documentary.
Lost premiered on the American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) network on September 22, 2004, and lasted until May 23, 2010. Until its end, it had many fans but even several of them claim that the ending episodes of the series were unsatisfactory which was also pointed out by some of the actors in the new trailer of Getting Lost. Now however, with the new showcoming, they will be able to see teases of the original body such as the original plane smash as well as the loyal fanbase that the show has managed to create and maintains to this day.
Getting LOST’ Contains A Lot of Archival Material
As production of Getting LOST drew to a close in July, the cast and crew of the new documentary were also revealed, shortly after Morden’s appointment as director. Among the newly announced participants were Evangeline Lilly, Daniel Dae Kim, Henry Ian Cusick, Emilie De Ravin, Nestor Carbonell, Josh Holloway, Terry O’Quinn, Maggie Grace, Jorge Garcia, Michael Emerson, Malcolm David Kelly, Elizabeth Mitchell, Sonya Walger, Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, Jack Bender, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Michael Giacchino, and Larry Fong.
In spite of the fact that Going good and lost is already aimed primarily at veteran admirers of the delightful drama, new supporters will likewise be brought into the show created by Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof. Apart from the interviews, Getting LOST will include hours after hours of unseen shoot footage of an unfinished lost documentary that was pulled off in 2010. Also, the new project is crowdfunding based and the finances are fully raised on Indiegogo, while production is done by Ralph D. Apel, Emily Claire, Jo Garfein and Morden.
Getting LOST will be premiering in theatres in Canada, thanks to Cineplex, starting November 3rd with screenings planned for New York City, Eugene OR, and Orange County CA to be announced soon. Additionally, all seasons of Getting LOST are available for streaming on Netflix.
