Hannah MacPherson’s “Time Cut”, which is out on Netflix, was filmed before “Totally Killer,” however the film does compound the claim that it is a time travel movie, but then again, so does this film. However, its failings cannot be blamed on some I am superior comparables which is very exceptional. Even if that film never existed hell, if time travel movies never existed – this movie would still be completely terrible. Comparisons do not assist, but nothing would.
Madison Bailey has been sufficiently impressive in the Netflix installation Outer Banks which makes one believe she has the chops to lead a movie. Even so, McPherson however has not got a clue how to work with her in this regard which results in a hopelessly lost and uninspiring performance. With regard to Bailey as Lucy Field, she has 2.5 expressions: bafflement, fright, and that combination of the two that is vaguely frightened. It is more probable that she is wishing for a better movie to be part of because usually, she does.
Set in 2024, Lucy plays a character who lost her sister Summer to murder twenty years ago. The role of Summer is played by Antonia Gentry, and seems to be the only one who has been able to show some form of charisma in the film. The character Summer shows interest in IVF after the death of Summer, explaining her parent’s need for a Child. (It will make sense later on so stay with me).
This is how Lucy ends up with a time travel machine, an amazing invention that allows her to try to avert the murder of her sister at the hands of a killer who has been freeing Sweetly. The time travel device comes with great responsibility, and the Fragment of “The Simpsons” in particular regarding “Time Toaster” illustrates well enough what our time traveling device can do- If Lucy’s parents never consider reproducing, it is because Summer does not pass away, and even to take her place because she is not born yet. Would you nip your sibling in the bud for the chance to see the world again, which is emotional for such a film? Macpherson, on the other hand, along with co-writer Micharl Kennedy are uninterested in that saga at all.
To me, this seems to be like a B-grade movie shot in film, during which the director mocks and smiles with a dramatic twist. Because instead of greater tension, they create erratic sequences, which completely removes the idea of having drama in the film. All in all, combining two different genres while retaining a level of congruence is extremely hard and I do not realistically consider there being an effective execution of this interplay, which is why to many I’m certain will not enjoy the ending.
Amateurish at the very least could be said to be the performance of the supporting cast, while Griffin Gluck, who was remarkable in American Vandal and remains one of my favorite stars, was ridiculed as a mindless cog in this entire plot. It is quite ridiculous because during that time the show was so good and I was hoping to watch more of it. To my absolute dismay, “Time Cut” fails to amaze me in a way that is comparable to feeling like a waste of good content during the target-watching period as it provides zero logical shocking moments or emotional moments. Some people would even argue that it abandons emotional anchorage from the very first scene.
The reminder that I kept jotting down while watching the film ‘Time Cut’ was ‘clunky.’ And I am an admirer of such ridiculous concept horror films. I’m happy people continue to discover “Happy Death Day” every year. It was not about time travel, but the goofy “Freaky” was entertaining. There is very little ‘entertainment’ here, making it appear as though all of the participants are simply fulfilling their duties. I anticipated another time-traveling film which bears great interest. I simply wished for my time back after I finished watching this one.
