8 Don 75
8 Don 75: Palette Motion Pictures and Udaharanarth joint to create Amol Moghe (Shubhankar Tawde)’s portrayal in the film 8 Don 75 (Marathi; UA) as a doctor because he was instructed to do so by his deceased mother. His father is Anna, who has become Kirwant and Kavita, Sanskruti Balgude, is Amol’s fellow student in the same medical college. A single doctor’s daughter built the school, Tare Hilarity. The Union elected Nikhil Rajeshirke as the Student Representative. He announces a boycott in college one day because there are no corpses there, and in this college culture the situation is overly explosive since they are asked for the students who have to know the art of being a physician from every possible angle, including the anatomical one. At that time, Nirmalatai Indurkar interrupts in the college and announces something that makes all the students sit tight since if, on the pre-condition, any one student satisfies certain conditions, he is entitled to free education? What is that pre-condition? What transpired after Nirmalatai made that announcement?
Written by Sharvany – Sushrut, story-screenplay is not that compelling: drama seems dispersed but not of the kind that can hold attention for too long; the humor is feeble & feelings are literally lacking.
In brief, there is no way to engross the viewers in the proceedings. The dialogues written and delivered by Sanjay Mone are average quality.
Shubhankar Tawde did believable justice to Amol Moghe’s character; Sanskruti Balgude as Kavita fair enough did well; Anand Ingle as Anna-Ramchandra Moghe alias Anna decently supported performed; Shaaravani Pilae as Vatsala Moghe was mediocre; Sanjay Mone did typical justice to Bhaurao Tare while he had showtime without overdoing them. Vijay Patwardhan did not look out of place as Nanu Kulkarni; Nikhil Devrukhkar did so-so as Nikhil Devrukhkar; Radhika Vidyasagar was average in her portrayal of Nirmalatai Indurkar. The others notably Pushkar Sudhakar Shrotri , Shubhangi Damle, Seema Kulkarni , Chinmay Girish Sant , Swapnil Kanase , Ashwini Kulkarni , Charudatta Aphale and all were good in their respective roles.
Sushrut Bhagwat’s direction turned out to be very normal; commendable is the music composed by Avadhoot Gupte; the Lyrics (Vaibhav Joshi, Ganesh Nigde and Sant Tukaram) are satisfactory; the choreography done by Deepali Vichare & Vitthal Patil can be termed as practical; background music rendered by Adwait Patwardhan and Onkar Tikle is fairly pleasant; the cinematography handled by Yogesh Rajguru will suffice but most probably could have been improved so not too terrible considering everything else that has gone wrong with the film here today my friends! Production designing (Siddharth Tatooskar & Bhakti Tatooskar) were satisfactory while I think the editing could have been more concise.
