Dasavarenya Sri Vijaya Dasaru is a biopic of one of the key personalities of the Bhakti Pantha. Due in theatres on April 12th, the movie has been directed by Madhusoodhan Havaldar.
On this occasion, it is good news to say that Uganda in this production has completed its hat-trick. This film’s producer, eminent industrialist Trivikrama Joshi, has played the part of Sri Vijayadasaru in both ‘Sri Jagannatha Dasaru Part I’ and ‘Sri Prasanna Venkatadasaru’. Now he shows the complete picture of this great saint of the Dasa Parampare.
The team revealed that ‘Dasavarenya Sri Vijaya Dasaru’ will be released on April 12th, and three songs were performed at Renukaamba Digital Theater in connection with the film. Union Minister Prahallad Joshi has earlier released Five Songs from this devotional movie.
Joshi is an industrialist turned mechanical engineer with good relations to prominent BJP leaders. ‘Dasavarenya Sri Vijayadasaru’ has been characterized by Trivikrama’s passion, to which he attributes the power of the songs to enliven his role.
When it comes to Joshi’s picture, there is no doubt that Jagannathdasru will be able to capitalise on the success of such films, and looking forward, the audience who have purchased tickets overseas need to be more vocal about it!
SPJ Movies will premiere Shri Jagannath Dasaru in the wake of their successful movie Sri Prasanna Venkatadasa. They are now coming out with Dasavarenya Sri Vijayadasa on the 12th of April, which is about yet another prominent Karnataka Haridasa, Vijayadasa.
Madhusudhan Havaldar the director comments equally on the theatrical release of parts 1 and 2 of ‘Dasavarenya’ where they both focus on bhakti movement. Sri Jagannatha Dasaru Part II is among the anticipated quality movies expected to come out in November.
Trivikrama Joshi during the time of portraying Sri Vijaya Dasaru himself, explains the concept that there is really quite a little history of the Dasa Parampare’s presence in Kannada films. Raichur district alone has over sixty Hari Dasa saints among its population who has done a lot in this area.
Among the large cast are actress Srilata who plays Aralamma the wife of Vijayadasa and many more including Prabhanjan Deshpande, Basavan Gowda (ex MLA) and Vijayananda Naik. The songs for ‘Dasavarenya’ were arranged by Vijay Krishna and the script and dialogues were written by JM Prahlad.
During the shooting of the scenes, locations such as Hampi, Kanakagiri, etc. are mentioned by SPJ Movies spokespersons as the settings.
