This Is Me… Now
This Is Me… Now
This Is Me… Now: Jennifer Lopez has shown us why she’s the best. Lopez has release a new album for the first time in a decade titled This Is Me… Now which is being released together with a full length feature available on Amazon Prime titled This Is Me… Now: A Love Story. The title perfectly encapsulates this over-the-top musical and visual journey. Jennifer Lopez clearly wants us to remember her previous album, This Is Me … Then, released in 2002.
This month, we have seen a different narrative from the love story fashion of ‘This is me now’. The makers have not concentrated much on personal details. A video film on sinners’ area cannot be labelled as a visual record. In the words of J Lo, an apparent conflict between the promo and final films resulted in a leap in Creation through Separation, thus making it the first of its kind in its genre. The aim of the promo was to be encouraging, but rather displayed the gentle and emotional side of the artist and not making the promo themselves.
On Wednesday night, J.Lo, Lopez in the promo, portrayed a vision of strength, determination, and self-improvement, but certain segments of the film were confusing. In a video in which Morous Victor speaks, he explains how characters may be divided into two catalyzing Presbyterian and motivational actors, in this case Lopez and J Lo. Regarding the experience as ‘securing’ bordered into losing control in what should be episode raising emotions from and to.
Fellow Screenx artist then set the motivation parameters for two pivotal looming episodes. First we have the much coveted marriage between J Lo and Ben Affleck in a marvellous cinematic engagement. Describing the scene as calm would be mesmerising, certainly expect there to be fireworks in the surrounding subtleties. The second act features the entire swarm of Lopez’s supportive women featuring Ema Watson who perfectly matched the devout decorum. Splendid acting from all perspectives. Although Lopez argued prior to the promo that acting should not be incomprehensible, announcing that should anger them is something to be rid of. It is all about showing numerous parameters which other ‘MRA’’ sacred masculinity icons never support.
If you want to relive the cinematic experience of watching the movie, turn on your stereo as loud as it can go, stand right next to it, and sit on it. This theater has such powerful bass, I think my butt contains some Dolby Digital speakers!
All right, everybody quiet, please. For a moment, everyone will hear the anecdote of Puerto Rican culture (as seen by JLo). This is “The Legend of the Hummingbird,” where the protagonists, perfectly matched lovers, turn into a flower and a hummingbird. Taroo is the man who be became a hummingbird and his eternal curse is to go from bloom to bloom, searching for Alida, who became a red rose so that the man whom she was forced into marriage with could not touch her. Hmmm … who’s a flower and who’s a bird in this case, J. Lo or the other actor?
For Heaven’s sake: We are what, barely 10 minutes in and J Lo and her unnamed partner crash their bikes. During the commotion, there’s a focus on J Lo’s body and zooming into her heart … only it’s a huge steampunk heart which appears to be a giant machine and so many industrial workers who are some filthy bastards live inside J Lo. Then it’s dance break. It is Hard Knock Life except they wear goggles and replace the metaphors with ones about flowers.
Oh wow, it was only but a fantasy. And now JLo in therapy, explaining it all. With her psychotherapist, rapper Fat Joe. Here, this is not a fantasy.
Here we are once more, without a second to ask, or comprehend anything, including this J.Lo’s casting choice, because J.Lo is dancing once more. Her dances ought to always be displayed on the big screen. But why was J.Lo not part of the Step Up franchise? Was that therapy too easy for her? In any case, J.Lo and some increasingly annoying lover of hers, are in fight dancing, in a glass house. Is this supposed to mean that this is a reference to J Lo being in a real abusive relationship in the past? Has J.Lo passed out again? Am I??!!
A wedding sequence, oh so nice! Or three of them?! A triumphant moment for J Lo, who is turned into the butt of the joke, see she is able to poke fun at herself. The grooms don’t look quite like Ojani Noa, Cris Judd or Marc Anthony, but they are ‘Exactly the Same’. But I will pretend that the Derek Hough shot’s husband was inspired by Lopez’ false fiancée Alex Rodriguez.
What was surprising though is the fact that the film features constant CGI through the whole movie, which in some way … works? It seems as if it is all just another day in the film. We can add ‘magical realism’ to the very long list of styles this film attempts to master.
Well, let’s get back to that therapy session with Fat Joe. Latina diva has been spotted in quite a few pieces belonging to the Gucci x Adidas collection. Perhaps Gucci is the flower and Adidas is the hummingbird?
Puppy! Puppyyyyy! All right, they worth their $20 million estimated budget for the film.
Jennifer Lopez for the first time finally comes back to all of her friends. At her place. They are staging some love attack and it is because she loves love too much! These so-called friends have no names but only characters. There is the Fighter, the Quiet One, the Idealist, the Lover, the Realist, and the Cynic. Hold on, the Cynic’s full name is Mike.
The puppy has now matured into a ten-year-old dog that follows around J.Lo, who has sought help from – and I cannot highlight this enough – Love Addicts Anonymous (LAA). As its name goes, the movie revolves around the central concept of J.Lo being a love fanatic. Its supporting arguments include a lyrically chaired dance with her fellow fellow Love Addicts. The role of the meeting leader goes to Paul Raci, who appeared in Sound of Metal and who does not appear in the musical scene. Not even reclining in the chair appears to be something that J. Lo can do, let alone practice the choreography.
The focal point of J. Lo’s romance in the motion picture seems to be astrology. She pokes fun at Libra guys and properly states that she’s a Leo in a few places. There are also detail shots of a Zodialogical Council, namely Sofia Vergara, Keke Palmer, Jenifer Lewis, Jane Fonda, Post Malone, Trevor Noah, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Kim Petras, Jay Shetty and yogi Sadhguru. All characters are assigned zodiac signs though not all characters are playing their zodiac signs. I would like the minutes to reflect that Keke Palmer is a Virgo and not a Scorpio as this movie portrays.
