Mutants of Nature Cove
Mutants of Nature Cove
As bad as it gets, Mutants of Nature Cove has no plot, no narrative and is not even good on the level of a college video. The only redeeming thing about the flick is the sheer extent of naked skin you will behold. If there was a budget for this movie, it clearly was not put to good use. Even entry level college projects are more polished than this.
Written (that’s rich) and directed by Beau Mann, the plot of the movie Mutants of Nature Vogue is non-existent, owing it to women who travel to a remote nudist beach that is overrun by mutants. These beings induce psychedelic dreams, spawn from a hellish domain ( perhaps) and are woven into an insipid scheme with eventual ambitions of global annihilation. It is the responsibility of the ladies to thwart the invasion, liberate the beach’s naked inhabitants and the planet as well.
Quite the contrary actually. It is very difficult to concentrate on such a pathetic storyline. Each and every shot in M of Nature Cavern is smeared with the obnoxious use of green screen, subpar acting, cheap monster embellishments, and appalling audio quality as if the filming took place in a drunken stupor. To add insult to injury, not only is the entire cast naked, they remain so for the duration of the movie.
Is it plot relevant? Of course not, and far too many performers look merely uncomfortable being naked throughout. Or rather this, it’s likely that they remain in this position because they are all bad at acting, worth not further encouraging, delivering lines while truly having the enthusiasm of a dying starfish and moving in the least graceful fashion.
Very few are really going to go further than ten minutes in only to turn this off. The fact that the blue-green screen beach and dreadful sound will be the film’s reality is sufficient for the better part of target audience to give up the ghost. Scepticism, however, is another thing that does not make an appearance, evrything is bad from the beginning and does not get better. Actually, because of the monster effects and extra locations, which were also shot against a green background, it becomes worse.
It seems inevitable to emerge in defense of this film and claim “what were you expecting. You are not meant to take it seriously”. It’s just goofy stuff and the overall follow-up has been to ensure that the film is thoroughly unusable. Yeah, one can accept that but only to a degree. Numerous no-budget horrors have nudge-winked the camera, there is a marked difference between these and this however, because those were at least meant to be entertaining, whilst this was not attempting any such thing.
There is no entertainment value in the movie Mutants of Nature Cove. There is no even kathakali singing in the entire film as well so it is far from eh… well. One of the poorest movies ever unless you want to see a bunch of naked bodies. So, go out to the beach if that’s what you want.
